We received numerous customer requests to develop chat plugin for Oxwall this year. The wait is over now! We are glad to annouce today that we are ready with our iFlyChat Plugin for Oxwall.

Like our modules/plugins for Drupal, WordPress, Joomla and PHPFox, this plugin would provide integration to Oxwall websites with our cloud based chat system.

iFlyChat plugin comes packed with lots of features :

Chat Rooms - Your Oxwall website users can talk with others in chat rooms.

One to one chat (Private chat) - Users can talk with each other privately as well.

Group Chat - Users can add more people in a private conversation.

SSO (Single Sign On) - There is no separate login to chat. It is directly integrated with your Oxwall site login system.

User Avatar - The user avatar from Oxwall are directly rendered in chat.

User Profile Link - The chat automatically displays link to user profile in chat.

Friends - We provide integration with Oxwall Friend system. Our chat can be configured to show only friends in the user list (instead of all online users).

Settings Page - Admin can change settings of plugin inside the Admin dashboard of Oxwall site only, no need to visit our site to change settings.

And many more admin and end user features which will take user interaction level of your Oxwall social community website to next level.

We have been testing file attachment feature for quite some time now. Today, we are glad to annouce that this feature is out of beta testing and now available to our clients. Some of our customers are pretty excited to use this feature as it takes the interaction among users to the next level. Now, users can share photos, documents or any other similar files with others. Users can share file in one-to-one chat, group chat as well as in public rooms. And, it is available both for popup chat and embedded chat. Isn't that awesome? :D

For the geeks, we are using Dropbox API to upload, store and retrieve the files. And as far as our experience goes, their system is solid and will ensure maximum and fast availability of the service. No compromise on that.
