A few members of my site, www.prettythin.com, have reported to me that they are not seeing the text people type. They get the "[username] is typing" and nothing happens. They found this out by communicating via private messages instead of the chat on the forum.
What can I do to fix it?

Have you enabled stop words?
If you have enabled stop words, and people use these words in chat then it would happen.

I am having a similar issue. Users see the "[username] is typing" prompt but nothing else happens. Is there currently a bug surrounding group rooms?

Is this happening in a room? If yes, then please ensure correct user role has been assigned to the room.
