You can edit and add your own smileys to the chat. This can be done by declaring these two global JavaScript variables on all pages - iflychat_smiley_list and iflychat_smiley_popup.
Create a new javascript file and add it to your template (www.yourwebsite.com/iflychat_smiley.js). Now add the following code to it:

Here, smileys have been defined as properties of iflychat_smiley_list object.
Further, each smiley is an array where first and second elements define image URL and tooltip text for the same.
Similarly, iflychat_smiley_popup contains the list of all smileys (separated by comma) shown when a user clicks on smiley icon. The default list is shown below:
