We promised in earlier blog post about providing integration between our chat plugin for Joomla and JomSocial plugin, and today we are delivering that. It will bring more power to our Joomla clients who are running a community website using JomSocial plugin.
The combination of iFlyChat and JomSocial will work wonders for community websites. It will take user engagement to a new height and prove beneficial for the popularity of the community. After-all, all online communities want a robust chat solution.

Features in brief –
- User profile picture in chat will be in sync with profile picture uploaded using JomSocial profile.
- User profiles links will be directly fetched from JomSocial and used in chat.
- Friends chat - Chat plugin can be configured in a way that users can see only their friends in chat. Yes, friendship defined using JomSocial can be used in chat as well. No need to maintain friends separately for chat and website.
And icing on the cake, to do all this no need to write any code. Just install our plugin and you are good to go.
